Terms of Service
Last updated: June 10, 2026
These terms cover everyone who uses RepairPriceGuide.com. Sections 1 and 2 apply to all visitors. Section 3 applies to contractors who buy leads through the pro portal. Using the site means you accept these terms.
1. Using the site
Our cost ranges and calculators are planning estimates, not bids, appraisals, or professional advice. Final pricing always depends on an on-site inspection, local code, access, and the contractor's written scope. We work to keep the numbers current and well-sourced, but we make no guarantee that any estimate will match what a contractor quotes for your specific project, and we are not responsible for decisions made on the basis of an estimate.
Do not scrape the site, submit false information, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to any part of the service.
2. Quote requests (homeowners)
Submitting a quote request is free and creates no obligation to hire anyone. By submitting, you confirm the information is accurate and you consent to being contacted by contractors matched to your service category and area. Contractors on our platform are independent businesses; we do not perform repair work, and any contract for work is between you and the contractor. Verify licensing and insurance before hiring, as you would with any contractor.
3. Contractor accounts and credits (pros)
Contractor accounts require an application and our approval. You agree to provide accurate company information and to contact homeowners only about the project they submitted. We may suspend or close accounts for misuse of homeowner contact information, chargebacks, or conduct that harms homeowners or the platform.
Leads are purchased with credits. Credits are bought in packs through Stripe, have no cash value, are non-transferable, and remain available while your account is in good standing.
No-refund policy. All credit purchases are final and non-refundable. Unlocking a lead spends credits and is also final. We do not issue cash refunds for purchased credits or unlocked leads.
Lead credit-backs. If a lead is materially defective, we will review it and may, at our discretion, return the credits spent to your account. A lead qualifies for review when it is a duplicate, fake or unreachable with clearly false contact details, incorrectly categorized, outside your advertised service area, or unlocked due to a system error. A homeowner choosing another contractor, not answering, or postponing the project does not qualify. Request a review within 7 days of unlocking through the help form in the pro portal.
4. Liability
The service is provided as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for the conduct of contractors or homeowners, or for indirect or consequential damages.
5. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Kentucky, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
6. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date above reflects the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it. Questions go to partners@repairpriceguide.com.
