Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 10, 2026
RepairPriceGuide.com helps homeowners understand repair costs and, when they ask for quotes, connects them with contractors. This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it, in plain language.
What we collect
Browsing the site. Reading cost guides and using the calculators requires no account and no personal information. We do not run advertising trackers or sell browsing data.
Quote requests. If you submit a quote request, we collect the details you provide: your name, phone number, email, ZIP code, and project details. We also record your IP address and browser information to prevent spam and abuse. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection.
Contractor accounts. If you apply for a contractor account, we collect your company name, contact details, service categories, and service area ZIP codes. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
How we use it
When you submit a quote request, you consent to having your project details and contact information shared with contractors who serve your area and service category. That sharing is the purpose of the request, and it is the only situation where we share your information with another business.
We use email to deliver the messages you expect: lead details to contractors, account notifications, and replies to support requests. We do not send marketing email without consent, and we do not sell or rent personal information to data brokers or advertisers.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to operate the site: session cookies that keep contractors logged into their portal. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Data retention and your choices
We keep quote and account records as long as they are needed to operate the service and meet legal obligations. To ask what we hold about you, or to request correction or deletion, email partners@repairpriceguide.com and we will respond promptly.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. Material changes affecting how quote information is shared will be noted on the quote forms themselves.
